You can apply throughout the year. A deadline to apply for summer semester is the 15th of January, for winter semester it is the 15th of June.
The application should show that you are not older than 30 years of age and that you are or will be studying at one of the following universities: Goethe-Universität, FRA-UAS, HfMDK, PTH St. Georgen (certificate, registration or statement).
The Commission for rental contracts decides about the applications. The decision is taken by the commission according to social and study-related criteria. You will normally get notice until 4 weeks after the mentioned deadline.
